MalaMala Game Reserve is currently looking for an experienced Camp Manager/ couple to be responsible for the management and coordination of MalaMala Rattray's Camp including all guests and staff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: daily and frequent communication with senior management, connecting all departments in a cohesive manner, interaction and management of all guests, human resource management in consultation with the HR Manager, management of staff, daily administrative tasks and task distribution, budgeting and financial management, management of heads of department, handling of emergencies and crises, projects management and maintaining sound business partnerships.

The candidate will need to have the following qualifications and skills:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • First Aid level 1 (Minimum).
  • 3 – 5 years of 5* African Safari Camp/Lodge management experience.
  • Some experience in F&B required.
  • A qualification in Tourism & Hospitality and/or Hospitality Management.
  • Valid PrDP licence.
  • English literacy level: Must have an excellent command of the English language including reading, writing and speaking.
  • Computer literacy level: Use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), internet and stock control systems.
